Susan explains how to put a piece together. Practicing is a matter of repetitions and understanding that difficulties occur between two notes.
The emphasis in this lesson is the practicing of intonation. The teacher needs to know the high points of a piece and to show the student how it feels and sounds. When the student arrives at these moments in a piece they are well prepared.
